  1. Add a filter for 'No dogs allowed' campsites to be identified, and not just those that accept dogs.

  2. PitchupApp for ANdroid

    I have seen at http://www.pitchup.com/news/article/2012/apr/01/space-my-tent-app-ensures-campers-wake-happy/, that there is a IphoneApp. But I did not find a app for android. It would be nice, if this app would be also available for Android.

  3. allow compatibility with all browsers...

    The internet is no longer dominated by Internet Explorer users. Even Firefox is being overtaken as 2nd browser of choice. Personally, I like Safari (most commonly used by Apple Mac users), but I also have Opera, Chrome and Firefox installed on my PC.

    Unfortunately, when I click on a campsite on the 'map', I get "Safari can’t run the script “//pushin hover” because Safari doesn’t allow JavaScript to be used in this way." thus I am unable to get the campsite details.

  4. Make sure that parks listed as taking tourer / tents / Campers really do!

    there are lot of parks listed which don't accept tents tourers etc, but when you ring them they actually don't

  6. Text message when pitch is booked

    Keeping tabs on pitch allocation can be made a lot easier if pitchup were able to send a text message to a registered mobile number whenever a booking is made so there is less chance of double bookings and/or extra pitches can be added, most park managers are not able to be sat in front of the computer all day and may only get to check on e-mails & bookings later on in the day.

  8. make the map EVEN BIGGER with more zoom levels

    The map is too small to easily see where the different campsites are. Also an intermediate zoom level would help. It's either in too close so you don't know where you are in relation to everything else or too far out and you can't see individual sites.

    For the page that comes up once you have selected a single campsite. Current rectangular window is too narrow, too cumbersome for finding relative points.

  11. Clean-up review entry page

    1. Give some style :-). Make use of right-side of page. Too much crammed at bottom.
    2. Questions are a bit confusing: "Would you mind other travellers asking you about this?" give a yes or no box to check, not just a single box. Or rewrite statement in the affirmative.
    3. Final link at the bottom says "submit query", "submit review" better.
    4. Next page gives you the opportunity to load a pic, but the "load" link is broken, doesn't light up or do anything when you click it. Also, if you don't want to load a pic, there is no other optional link…

    1. Too hard to tell at a glance what it is about. See Acres Down Farm as an example (delete when finished)
    2. Also, when looking under the "overview" of this campsite, there should be a link inviting you to view the reviews (when they exist) with perhaps a number for how many submitted.

  16. tell me whether a site takes touring caravans

    when you search for sites that take tourers, plenty come up - but many are static only with no accommodation for tourers. A database issue, I think.

    If you select more than one accommodation type, we will show parks with either type. Is this the issue or is there a problem when only touring caravans are selected?
