pitchup search on my website
I would like a pitchup search on my website. widget?
43 votesWe’re delighted to announce the launch of our new widget builder – enabling you to add Pitchup.com listings to your site, your way (www.pitchup.com/widget-builder/).
Users tell us that they love to use our search filters to find the ideal site, so we’ve tried to replicate that experience in the widget. It’s available in featured panel, map and search forms with flexible dimensions, so should be usable in most sites.
We hope you find the new tool useful, and look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions for improvement.

allow compatibility with all browsers...
The internet is no longer dominated by Internet Explorer users. Even Firefox is being overtaken as 2nd browser of choice. Personally, I like Safari (most commonly used by Apple Mac users), but I also have Opera, Chrome and Firefox installed on my PC.
Unfortunately, when I click on a campsite on the 'map', I get "Safari can’t run the script “//pushin hover” because Safari doesn’t allow JavaScript to be used in this way." thus I am unable to get the campsite details.
This only seems to affect Safari users, but as this includes most Apple Mac users, it's a large…3 votesThanks for the bug. This should have been fixed: please let us know if it’s still occurring.

Add 'open fire' as a campsite feature
FIres are the only reason I camp. I need to know where allows them and where doesn't
4 votesThanks for the suggestion! We already offer a campfire feature here:

improve the map/diagram for selecting sites
It is difficult to see individual sites - if you allow the user to focus down to at least a county level they might be able to differentiate between individual flags

New formatting for live review pages
- Too hard to tell at a glance what it is about. See Acres Down Farm as an example (delete when finished)
- Also, when looking under the "overview" of this campsite, there should be a link inviting you to view the reviews (when they exist) with perhaps a number for how many submitted.

Clean-up review entry page
- Give some style :-). Make use of right-side of page. Too much crammed at bottom.
- Questions are a bit confusing: "Would you mind other travellers asking you about this?" give a yes or no box to check, not just a single box. Or rewrite statement in the affirmative.
- Final link at the bottom says "submit query", "submit review" better.
- Next page gives you the opportunity to load a pic, but the "load" link is broken, doesn't light up or do anything when you click it. Also, if you don't want to load a pic, there is no other optional link…

What is tomtom?
Maybe a little phrase next to the link? to explain what it is/what it does? Help people like me feel in the know.

Larger map viewing window
For the page that comes up once you have selected a single campsite. Current rectangular window is too narrow, too cumbersome for finding relative points.
