Yes, we are based near Bollywood! We had a look at a map of the UK. Settle is in North Yorkshire and we have to choose a region for the county. Should we change it to north west England?

Thank you for your feedback. All of our campsites are geocoded and appear in the correct location on our map. Unfortunately, we are restricted to the UK's county structure, each of which is allocated to a single region which are by necessity an approximation. It may be worth submitting Settle as a candidate for the government's forthcoming boundary changes to restore cartographic order.

Settle used to be in the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is 25 miles from the west coast at Carnforth, it's about 100 miles from the east coast at Bridlington.
I'm no geographer, but I'd say your question is hard to answer without stating the obvious.
It's almost like if someone asked you if London is situated in the south of England.
Why was the comment declined? I thought it was a valid point.
If I was in the North East (Newcastle, for example) and happened across this website whilst searching for a 'local campsite in the North East of England', and was provided with a suggested campsite that's over 100 miles away and only a stone's throw from the Irish Sea, I think I'd be back to the Google search page and be blacklisting your site for being cartographically retarded.
