its not a lot, granted, and i'm not going to chase you for £1.50 but this rather an unfair practice to customers in my position.
As a single person I booked a nights camping at Hendra in Newquay as it was the cheapest that was available on your site.
The booking went through, my account was debited and the following day i received a phone call from Hendra telling me they are a family site and do not accept booking from individuals.
I was refunded, but not the full amount. I assume that was your commission?
I rather think I should have been refunded the full amount don't you?

If a campsite does not allow single sex booking you should not be able to book a pitch through the site. Wrekin View in Shropshire is one of the sites that post very conflicting rules as to who they accept and it is not made very clear. They refused me access after i had booked. So i have lost £9.90 deposit for something i do not view as my problem. Why are single people ostracized ????? What happened to innocent before guilty. Not everyone is a pervert. To me it is a lifestyle and if they took the time out to find out about people they would know. Why pigeon hole everyone. More than willing to be subjected to any checks they required.I am totally disgusted with the booking aspect as this is a problem i should not have happened and easily resolved

It's not an idea , two days ago l booked four days at Wrekin from 14 -18 September . The booking was accepted and l paid in full . I am single . Today l received an email informing me that you don't allow single people and that my booking is cancelled and you will keep a deposit ?
That's unfair . Your booking form allows 1adult , if there is no singles allowed then why does your admin allow a single person to make the booking in the first place , only then to be told that your booking is cancelled and your keeping a deposit . That's not fair . The information on the confirmation email , says you don't accept group booking of two or more , nothing mentioned about a single booking not being allowed .
I would still like to take up the booking , if not then please refund the whole amount , £80 .
