allow some kind of search to find sites without certain features, ie tents and not caravans
I want to find campsites which are tent only. I think you can probably do that as you know which sites allow tents and which allow caravans, and therefore which allow tents and don't allow caravans.
Ideally I would like to know of sites where you have to park away from the tent as well.
Basically, I once got the idea that I wasn't on holiday at a campsite, I was actually on holiday in acar park which happened to have a tents, and I've trying to find camp sites where I don't feel like that.

Review Scoring - Ask for justification for score(s) given
When users are giving scores about various camp-sites, they are asked to score in the relevant areas: Overall, Location, Value for money, Quality of Accommodation, Facilities/Activities, Customer Service, Child Friendliness, Cleanliness and WiFi.
When campers are giving these scores, they should be asked to give the reasons behind their score. This would help site owners to constantly improve their facilities and services they offer. For example, if an individual has had a good stay on which ever site they have stayed on, they could leave good scores (i.e. 9 or 10) for all areas. This does not, however, allow the…

reviews
Add under the overall score for the site review, ie 9.4 the number of reviews which have been used to make this. eg 9.4 from 30 reviews. Gives people a better understanding how true the headline score is.

Use the Saltire Flag for Scottish Sites, & similar flags for Wales, Wales & N Ireland
I know your firm is the uk, however having a Union Flag after the address in Dumfries Scotland followed by a union flag/jack instead of a Saltire. Please consider the separate flags for each of the home countries ir Welsh Dragon, England St George cross & Ni Flag. I think this would encourage people to use the site as they would be better informed. When I see the union flag after the Scottish address it puts me off using your site.

Let users know when a site is not legal.
There is a site behind where I live in breach of all planning permission where users go and have no idea! The users I have met are quite appalled that they had no idea. They would have liked to know before booking!
4 votesThank you for your message. Campsites do not necessarily need planning permission to operate however we react to any concerns raised. Without knowing which campsite you are referring to, it is difficult for us to implement your suggestion :-)
