have a search for tent sites only
every time I search for a tent site I keep coming up with caravan sites why can#'t people with tent needs find just tent sites.....don't care what other stuff is there when I get there, just need to know I can pitch a tent
Also sick and tired of keying in Ulverston and getting sites up near keswick and coniston23 votesAll sites in a tent search will accept tents. They may also accept caravans. You’d like a search for sites that only accept the tent category, and not motorhomes, glamping or tourers. Correct?
Re Ulverston sites, this is determined by what’s in the address – sometimes a site in an outlying village may have Ulverston as its postal town.

Add pitch size to the filters
It would be helpful if you could filter by pitch size I've looked at a campsite only to find the pitch size is too small for my tent

Dog searching
Dog searches need to be clearer with the option to put down how many dogs you have and find sites that will take that many

include pricing information
i thinking about perhaps maybe doing lots (like a month or two or until my 3 month visa runs out) of walking, with a tent. How much do I need to budget for "accommodation"?
8 votesThanks Yael. Were you looking for a general guide or specific sites? You can find all of our bookable sites’ pricing by searching for your dates on the home page.

Let users know when a site is not legal.
There is a site behind where I live in breach of all planning permission where users go and have no idea! The users I have met are quite appalled that they had no idea. They would have liked to know before booking!
5 votesThank you for your message. Campsites do not necessarily need planning permission to operate however we react to any concerns raised. Without knowing which campsite you are referring to, it is difficult for us to implement your suggestion :-)

add tick boxes to the search list...
...so that I can select a number of campsites that sound cool and narrow down my search

Please install a "booking amendment" button on the customer portal
an amendment button where customers can simply put in their original booking ID, select extras and then make an additional payment - you are losing out on extra commission by not doing this and the customer satisfaction rate will go even higher!
4 votesThank you for this suggestion. Adding extras is a fairly rare requirement on the whole but we are working on a solution to amend all aspects of the booking, which is unfortunately not a trivial change.

Check information
Cross Key's site Sommerton states this site is Adults Only but camping bank holiday weekend and there are children here!

....revert to your old website.
You appear to have changed the booking area of the website considerably over the last few weeks/months and I have to say it is not working for me.
Firstly there is some sort of bug that if I change the dates (for example I am booking different sites back to back for one week, or different trips) then it randomly defaults back to the first dates I had searched with and the availability and pricing is wrong.
This may be used error, but I also cannot find all the old filters - electric hoopkup, campfires permitted, dogs permitted - meaning…

Subdivision campfire on ground - use of firepits
There's a huge difference between campfires on the ground and open fires in raised firepits. Many camp owners don't object the latter, they are less harmful and better contained.

Scale up! With customer help!
Pitchup is a great idea, it needs to be bigger though! It needs to be the Booking.com or airbnb of camping.
Suggest you mobilise Pitchup customers to help you scale.
Provide a money off voucher to customers for every campsite they recruit onto Pitchup.
Put together a new section that has a campsite recruitment form in a range of languages that campers can give/send to campsites.
By giving cash back you can encourage people to do a campsite recruitment drive to make their next holiday cheaper.
Replicate the airbnb/uber ratings model, so no-showers are marked down. Giving PitchUp a real…

Staying at skegness fields and you advertised no twin axels but they have them on site also cab and trailer units here too
Skegness fields site seems to accommodate twin wheeler Motorhome and cab and trailers units as they have 5 onsite this week (posted this because when booking it says no tag axle)and maybe deterring others 👍

Add a "donations" field to the payment process
We like to give customers the option to donate £1-£5 to the AONB who look after the beutiful landsacpe that surrounds out site and upon which many of of our campers stroll. A simple dropdown box would suffice. Clearly we'd ask you to allow for this post commission calculation!
1 voteGenerally we try to remove fields from the booking form to prevent customers abandoning the booking, but this might work on the confirmation page.

Please could you let us know which campsite? Campsites enter their own allocation on Pitchup.com so if you’ve booked then it should be open.

cannot save new settings? no save button
1 voteThere is no need to save badges – the code is auto generated and you simply copy and paste and add to your site. Please see the instructions above the badges.

new feature
i think it would be a great idea to show the prices per night for a caravan or campervan & per person etc. :)
1 voteThe prices can vary pretty often so the way we do this is to return the prices by date after you enter your details – have you tried this?
