Changing the term Play area in Features to Playground
When contacting sites to ask for photos when they've ticked 'play area' in their Features section, some sites just send a photo of an empty field or area of the camping field where children are permitted to play. Usually we would interpret this box being ticked to mean that there is some kind of play structure, swings etc.
I think changing the term in Features from Play area to Playground might help avoid confusion as it implies more of a created playground than just an area for playing. I'd say this comes up maybe 25% of the time. It would…

Change the settings in special offers to accommodate up to 60 days in advance
Problem: Domaine du Lambon https://pitchup.my.salesforce.com/0013z00002njZiG have an offer offering 15% off for customers that offer 60 days in advance. Currently the ahead of time offer only goes up to 28 days.
Intention: This will allow more flexibility for sites trying to go live, increasing our pool of sites over time.
Time: This would be beneficial all the time, but particularly in winter season when adding new sites
Customer: This is relevant for site owners
How big: I currently only have one site requiring thgis modification

Group Bookings on Pitchup - Minimum Guests/ Units
The Portal doesn’t currently allow sites to set group-only bookings or a minimum guest/unit requirement by date. This is a problem for sites with multiple units/ pitches that take individual bookings midweek but only accept group bookings at weekends. (vice versa).
As a result, these sites either can’t join Pitchup, have to block out dates, or manage group bookings manually off-platform, all of which reduces bookable inventory and revenue.
Benefits:
- Win more sites: Removes a common blocker for multi-unit glamping and lodge operators.
- Increase revenue: Unlocks high-value weekend and peak-date group bookings.

The ai is less useful than filters. I was sent an email of sites with hot tubs. Absolutely none of them have hot tubs.

Make Campfire searches more accurate
I specifically searched for sites that allow campfires, and bought my ingredients based on cooking on a firepit, but when I got there the site did NOT allow campfires. I also nearly booked a site that is classed as allowing campfires then re-read the description and it said specified "no campfires or barbecues".

Provide the ability to filter out sites that require you to be a member of a caravan club
Too many caravan club sites are being advertised on pitchup and not all campers/caravaners are a member. It is incredibly frustrating having to scroll through loads of sites stating that you must be a member of the caravan club etc. An option to filter these out would be very helpful

Make sure search facility works as it should for all filters
I searched Motorhome, adults only, bring a gazebo with beach access. There were 3 results, the first one allows children… not impressive

Improve filters
Add lodge amenities filters that are missing from on site accomodation. It seems to be the only site that doesn't let you filter by private hot tub, only hot tubs on site in general is an available filter.

5th Wheel sites or pitch length search facility
Great website, Think it would be a useful idea to have an option for sites that can take 5TH wheels or be able to search for a minimum length pitch as most need 9M+

Make all reviews by person visible.
When following a recognised tourist route and you find a useful review from somebody else on that route it would be very useful to see other reviews they may have left. This would help with selecting sites further along the route, and give you more custom in the process.

give more information for motorhomes
The information you provide is great for caravan owners, but if you have a motorhome you need to know if towns or attractions/shops are walkable or if public transport is close by.

Remove AI summaries of reviews. There is way too much AI rubbish on the internet and customers are capable of reading reviews for themselves.

Tell campsites there is no way I'd pay some of their prices, just for a one man hiking tent. I can book a bed and breakfast cheaper
A price for hikers. We take up no room. And often only want a little water, to then move on.
People do not like wild campers, we do that for free. Personally I'd rather use a campsite that's reasonably priced for a night's pitch.But not at some of these utterly ludicrous costs.

I recently saw an advert (on Facebook) for a campsite holding a New Year's Eve party and wondered if it could be possible to search for special events being held at campsites. I'd love to see if other sites are also offering NYE parties. (Could also include Halloween, bonfire night, Easter, summer solstice, etc.)

Make it possible to seach for multiple pitch types at the same time
Before you changed the site design, it used to be possible to add both tent and campervan to the search, now I can only pick one or the other.
Please revert it to the way it was before.

Multiple Pitch types filter option
multiple pitch types in the same search filter, e.g. Tent and Touring Caravan etc. We can then better plan to go away with friends without having to check each site individually if. 1 - they accept the 2 pitch types and 2 - have availability.

Signs that can be printed and shipped (like Michelin guide) for front gates, where people passing by can scan QR code and it goes directly
I had a camposite request this and I think it could be amazing.
A print to order sign (super cheap) maybe in a plastic paper with our logo and QR code to the specific booking page of campsite, that way people don't have to go in and ask (many don't) and they could just see the sign with "BOOK NOW" and our logo plus QR code. If every campsite had one we could catch all the people that are looking for a campsite to stay in for the night and could convert very well for a very low investment, plus…

I suggest you stop advertising the price of sites by using the phrase FROM. It makes me so angry You need to change this to match the season
Change the way you advertise sites by lowest price, to include lowest prices by season.
