  1. We look for sites that accept a small group of cyclists (max 5) each with their own tiny tent that generally fit on two pitches. And often stay just one night.

    We know there are sites that welcome cyclists and backpackers - even give us a reduction, but I can’t see any reference to that on Pitchup, just lots of sites that say in their description that they would refuse our set up (we are all females) I’ve tried the motorbike tour search, but again lots of expensive sites that wouldn’t accept single sex groups.

  2. I find it frustrating if travelling by bike, alone I pay the same for my tiny tent as a family of 4 with a large car. Reduced rates for sustainable travel and lone campers should be encouraged

  3. Remove Marty's Halfway House from your list of sites. It does you a massive dis-service to have it there at all. Just read the reviews!

  4. As part of the roof tent community and a TentBox ambassador myself and the community would appreciate a roof tent option. Currently without an option people are put off booking and instead book directly as they have to ask.

When searching for an electric tent pitch, the thumbnail in the search shows an electric pitch cheaper than when you click through, screens shots attached showing "electric pitch: £26.40 per night" but when you click through, it shows that's actually the NONELECTRIC pitch price, and the electric pitch is £31.60 per night. This makes it very hard to see the actual price per night while searching

  7. Maybe I'm just being dim but I can't see a Share button anywhere. I've found a campsite I'm interested in and want to send it to my friends but currently we copy the campsite name and they have to search for it, which doesn't seem very slick

  8. Everytime I login I get Password Reset email regardless of whether I login via Google or Facebook. I have never requested a rest but the email comes each time I login

  10. Hej! Nu kom denna textruta fram!
    Jag kan inte se om Pitchup är svenskt eller utländskt, men ni översätter i så fall!
    Vi har använt er tidigare och det har fungerat lysande!
    Vi ska på husbilssemester till Italien för 3-e gången och det verkar vara omöjligt att hitta campingplatser i Ligurien, Toscana , Rimini samt Venedig som är lediga.
    Är det möjligt att köpa en helhetslösning från er som passar våra resmål, så slipper vi punktmarkera de campingar som finns i händelse av avbokning?

    Vi behöver hjälp för perioden 23/7 - 2/8 ungefär.

  11. This facility was available in the initial stages of the search and brought up only suitable sites saving trawing 100's of unsuitable ones to find what you want. I don not want to spend hours trawling through sites in areas with facilities that I am not interested in. What makes you think this is a good idea doing away with such a customer friendly facility. It has put us off completely from using your site again.

  12. You appear to have changed the booking area of the website considerably over the last few weeks/months and I have to say it is not working for me.

    Firstly there is some sort of bug that if I change the dates (for example I am booking different sites back to back for one week, or different trips) then it randomly defaults back to the first dates I had searched with and the availability and pricing is wrong.

    This may be used error, but I also cannot find all the old filters - electric hoopkup, campfires permitted, dogs permitted - meaning…

  13. Not sure whether it is just a current problem or a problem with my system, but at the moment my search settings are reset every time I view a new site. It is really frustrating and going to stop me using your site until this is corrected.

  14. I opted for adult only parks and was not given those options. Oakmore is not Adult only. These wastes time for customers searching for options which are not available. I tried re-entering the options several times with the same results.

  15. A lot of campers who prefer hammocks find it hard to find a campsite on pitch up.
    Adding the option for sites with this available would make a huge difference.
    Surely it’s a matter of an additional box to tick?

  17. For years I have submitted amendment requests via the Pitchup portal; no-one ever did anything about them and I always had to contact a "Manager". Recently, the "Manager" suggested I contact them direct...guess what ?!

    I sent my request on 28/7...no reply
    I chased it on 7/8...no reply
    It's now 12/8 so what do I do ?!

    I understand that people might be on holiday but have you heard of the auto-reply/auto-responder ?????

  18. Have staff available to tell people to shut up after 1030 pm people ignored this some going on until 1 in morning. Yurts especially being very loud showing no consideration for others. Staff should warn these people.

  20. I would find it so helpful to be able to search availability across an extended period when I am flexible on dates (eg search for any seven nights between 1st and 31st august) At the moment I would love to book a last minute break over the school holidays (and would have booked a school holiday break earlier) and can go any time in august and am flexible on location. I can only search specific dates at the moment which makes searching difficult as I have to keep retrying with different dates.
