Use the Saltire Flag for Scottish Sites, & similar flags for Wales, Wales & N Ireland
I know your firm is the uk, however having a Union Flag after the address in Dumfries Scotland followed by a union flag/jack instead of a Saltire. Please consider the separate flags for each of the home countries ir Welsh Dragon, England St George cross & Ni Flag. I think this would encourage people to use the site as they would be better informed. When I see the union flag after the Scottish address it puts me off using your site.

Fix ferry listings
The map search view shows ferries at "Sharpness Old Docks" and "Lydney Harbour".
There''s definitely no ferry anywhere at Sharpness and I can find no evidence to suggest there's one at Lydney either.
These markers should be removed.

Cycling or walker lone camper rates
I find it frustrating if travelling by bike, alone I pay the same for my tiny tent as a family of 4 with a large car. Reduced rates for sustainable travel and lone campers should be encouraged

Offer an 'unlike' or 'Hide' button, for pitches that do not suit your requirements!
So many 'dog friendly' pitches have dog breed restrictions on them and as a family with staffys it is hard to remember which sites allow them and which do not when I am searching. A simple option to hide the ones that I cannot use would be really helpful. I'm sure this option would come in handy for many other uses too.

Add an option to allow sites to be hidden from searches
There are some sites I'd like to exclude from searches for various reasons however there's no way to exclude or hide sites

Sharing link
The ability to share places seems to of vanished since the website changed on mobile.
Its making it very difficult to arrange trips with other people when you can't send links externally.4 votes -
Have an option for hammock campers
A lot of campers who prefer hammocks find it hard to find a campsite on pitch up.
Adding the option for sites with this available would make a huge difference.
Surely it’s a matter of an additional box to tick?4 votes -
There is no obvious back button
When you go to view a site after a filter has been applied, there is no back button, which is very frustrating.

Rethink your policies
I had booked a stay at a holiday park in Devon. This has today been cancelled by the holiday park due to Covid 19. The holiday park stated that because I booked through Pitchup that Pitchup were responsible for refunding me. Pitchup have refused. They have refused to refund me and have offered me 'future credit'. Future credit in these times of uncertainty is absurd. We don't know if we are going to have any airlines left, let alone camping-booking websites. Why should Pitchup keep my money when it was not me that cancelled the holiday. Future credit is ridiculous;…

Let users know when a site is not legal.
There is a site behind where I live in breach of all planning permission where users go and have no idea! The users I have met are quite appalled that they had no idea. They would have liked to know before booking!
4 votesThank you for your message. Campsites do not necessarily need planning permission to operate however we react to any concerns raised. Without knowing which campsite you are referring to, it is difficult for us to implement your suggestion :-)
