Can you please add bikepacking as a form of camping - cyclist plus tent
There may be a group of one or more bikepackers going on a trip and it is useful to do group booking and see price per person for small tent/single traveller. Also bike-specific facilities at campsites such as secure storage, pumps/tools, maybe cycle-specific items in shops such as inner tubes.

Add a filter for how level the site is (no fun camping with a tent on a slope!)
Occasionally sites can be quite sloped which is not the best experience when tent camping.
Filters with options like: Flat, Mostly flat, Sloped or Hill side for example.
I often try reading through site comments to see if this is mentioned which takes up time when researching a suitable site.1 vote -

Please do not post replies with personal insults in them ! The site replied that we had bad BO !!!
Please do not post replies containing personal insults , because i do not agree with birds in small cages they called me ignorant, i may not be an expert but that is irrelevant, i dont like animals in cages !! They then went on to say other guests complained we had bad BO !!! Laughable as we have full facilities in our motorhome and certainly dont smell . My mum who is 88 yrs was very upset by that remark , totally unnecessary . Feel like sueing for slander!!!

Fire risk!Confirm a safe distance between units on all listed sites!.
Witnessed a motorhome go on fire on site ,luckily there was a 6m gap between vans so no damage to units either side. On same trip stayed on site where distance was just 1m between vans!

classification of needs, to separate campervan from motorhome. Not the same at all.
I have a campervan, no toilet, two lights and two 12 v sockets and one limited 3 pin socket. I have a footprint of 4.9m x 1.9 m. I am not a motorhome. I am definitely a different classification on most sites, although am often charged the same as a motor home. But that is a different issue.

City tax on booking confirmation
The site Camp Vodenca
https://pitchup.my.salesforce.com/001D000001xOrC1
reported that the current “Total cost” shown on booking confirmations often confuses guests, who frequently do not realize that city taxes are not included and must be paid on-site.Although the note “Excludes city tax (paid on arrival)” is present, around 98% of guests are still unaware, causing issues at check-in.
The site suggests making the information clearer, for example by replacing “Total cost” with “Partial price” or adding an asterisk or more prominent warning about local taxes.
Informed that “Total cost” is shown on the booking confirmation because it refers to the total amount…

I recently saw an advert (on Facebook) for a campsite holding a New Year's Eve party and wondered if it could be possible to search for special events being held at campsites. I'd love to see if other sites are also offering NYE parties. (Could also include Halloween, bonfire night, Easter, summer solstice, etc.)

Tell campsites there is no way I'd pay some of their prices, just for a one man hiking tent. I can book a bed and breakfast cheaper
A price for hikers. We take up no room. And often only want a little water, to then move on.
People do not like wild campers, we do that for free. Personally I'd rather use a campsite that's reasonably priced for a night's pitch. But not at some of these utterly ludicrous costs.
Camping / hiking isn't supposed to cost a second mortgage1 vote -
Make all reviews by person visible.
When following a recognised tourist route and you find a useful review from somebody else on that route it would be very useful to see other reviews they may have left. This would help with selecting sites further along the route, and give you more custom in the process.

5th Wheel sites or pitch length search facility
Great website, Think it would be a useful idea to have an option for sites that can take 5TH wheels or be able to search for a minimum length pitch as most need 9M+
Although have found a and booked a few I often find nice sites only to find short pitches suitable for caravans/campers only.1 vote -

Please could you let us know which campsite? Campsites enter their own allocation on Pitchup.com so if you’ve booked then it should be open.

Add a "donations" field to the payment process
We like to give customers the option to donate £1-£5 to the AONB who look after the beutiful landsacpe that surrounds out site and upon which many of of our campers stroll. A simple dropdown box would suffice. Clearly we'd ask you to allow for this post commission calculation!
1 voteGenerally we try to remove fields from the booking form to prevent customers abandoning the booking, but this might work on the confirmation page.

Staying at skegness fields and you advertised no twin axels but they have them on site also cab and trailer units here too
Skegness fields site seems to accommodate twin wheeler Motorhome and cab and trailers units as they have 5 onsite this week (posted this because when booking it says no tag axle)and maybe deterring others 👍

Scale up! With customer help!
Pitchup is a great idea, it needs to be bigger though! It needs to be the Booking.com or airbnb of camping.
Suggest you mobilise Pitchup customers to help you scale.
Provide a money off voucher to customers for every campsite they recruit onto Pitchup.
Put together a new section that has a campsite recruitment form in a range of languages that campers can give/send to campsites.
By giving cash back you can encourage people to do a campsite recruitment drive to make their next holiday cheaper.
Replicate the airbnb/uber ratings model, so no-showers are marked down. Giving PitchUp a real…
