  1. Allow us to add accreditation logos

    For example, for tourist board accreditation - especially as there is nowhere to add that we are now have our Verified Accommodation certification from the Welsh Tourist Board (there is no 0-5 scale, it's either verified or it isn't)

    Thanks for your feedback. We already show available dates in calendars within each pitch type on each listing page, and show sites with availability first in search results. Were you having difficulty on the search page or listing page?

  3. let people know if a campsite is closed instead of booking and then your customers driving there to find it abandoned.

  4. Make it clear to people at the end of season that the facilities are not available

    If I had known that there was no swimming pool, shop, bar, restaurant or wifi when I was booking, I would have opted for renting an apartment as a wet field with no facilities in a camper van is not a holiday. It is more of an endurance test. I needed wifi to keep in touch with work and was very inconvenienced by not even having that. Added to that, the tv did not work without wifi so we had to watch DVDs. I am extremely disappointed and feel cheated that I paid almost £100 for a wet field and…

    Allow to search for tent sites that have electric hookup. Spent so much time seaching for sites with electric hook up, only to find its for tourers or caravans.

  6. Great Pod in September 2013

    I decided on a pod when the camping season got a bit cool and I was impressed ,with the site the position of the pod and the heating , which at times got a little too hot , really enjoyed my experience.

  7. VIEWING FIGURES GO DOWN DRAMATICALLY IN SEPTMEBER SO START ADVERTISING THE LOG PODS, SHEPHERDS HUTS, ETC MORE AS PEOPLE MAY NOT WANT TO CAMP

  8. PHOTOS - Allow uploaded photos to be "live" or "hidden" to help admin managers

    It would save a lot of time & effort if photos in the gallery could have a button to let them be "live" or "hidden".
    For example, I was in the middle of uploading photos for a new pitch, when they were deleted by Pitchup as I had not completed the pitch yet (because you can't advertise a photo which you have no availability for & rightly so).
    This would save campsite administrators a lot of time and give them more flexibility to test different photos and hopefully increase conversion rates.

  9. put in a tick box for eco / green holidays

    Many people want to have a holiday that doesn't cost the earth in carbon emissions, putting a search that enables that person to look for somewhere that is off grid, composting loos, close to nature etc will help that person.

  10. blacklist

    Within the pitchup terms make clear a customer who fails to show or in some why causes an issue on the park is blacklisted from booking another holiday via Pitchup.

    No shows are very annoying and as you keep the deposit the park really does loose out in this situations. Knowing they are blacklisted would be something

  11. 'motorcycle friendly'

    add to search for motorcycle friendly sites. This should also include approach onto site as gravel is not the motorcyclists best friend. Also on sites I need to know that I can park my vehicle next to my tent and whether I am allocated a pitch or I can choose where to pitch in the given field.

  13. Check the ip addresses of posters for sites with no poor reviews.

    Multiple positive reviews from posters with only 1 x review seems bit coincidental. Would site owners write their own reviews to encourage business? Something just doesn't feel right about some reviews, very 'samey'

  15. have a search for tent sites only

    every time I search for a tent site I keep coming up with caravan sites why can#'t people with tent needs find just tent sites.....don't care what other stuff is there when I get there, just need to know I can pitch a tent
    Also sick and tired of keying in Ulverston and getting sites up near keswick and coniston

    All sites in a tent search will accept tents. They may also accept caravans. You’d like a search for sites that only accept the tent category, and not motorhomes, glamping or tourers. Correct?

    Re Ulverston sites, this is determined by what’s in the address – sometimes a site in an outlying village may have Ulverston as its postal town.

    Add under the overall score for the site review, ie 9.4 the number of reviews which have been used to make this. eg 9.4 from 30 reviews. Gives people a better understanding how true the headline score is.

  19. adjust distances from minehead and weston supermare to barry island

    when i was looking for campsites in barry island it came up that weston super mare and minehead were only 14.8 miles away. i know the somerset area and it takes a good 2 hours from minehead which is not 15 miles. It may be 14.8 miles away across the water, but not by road. As a result people who do not know the areas would be mislead and may book thinking its only a 20 minute drive when actually it is about 2 hours.

    At the moment, the only options are South Wales, North Wales and West Wales. What about Mid Wales? Or East Wales? Or Powys?
