Use the Saltire Flag for Scottish Sites, & similar flags for Wales, Wales & N Ireland
I know your firm is the uk, however having a Union Flag after the address in Dumfries Scotland followed by a union flag/jack instead of a Saltire. Please consider the separate flags for each of the home countries ir Welsh Dragon, England St George cross & Ni Flag. I think this would encourage people to use the site as they would be better informed. When I see the union flag after the Scottish address it puts me off using your site.

Accessible Facilities Option
Within the filter options, there should be an inclusive section for 'Accessible Facilities/Features'.
This would not only open your figurative doors up to the disabled community, but also those that may be older or those with young children and/or pushchairs.
Options could include: terrain description, accessible toilets, accessible showers, changing places unit, any paths and their type, local hospitals, safe to play (is it near main road, cliffs, etc), transport links, pool with disabled changing facilities, any hearing loops systems, fridge provided for medication, step free or number of steps, lifts, ramps, any tactile paving, etc. There are many ways…

Allow users to contact campsites with enquiries
There is no way to ask campsites if they can accommodate specific requests.
This means that I am not going to risk booking certain campsites as I could lose the 15% deposit if, when I turn up, they are unwilling/unable to accommodate the requests.

Let users know when a site is not legal.
There is a site behind where I live in breach of all planning permission where users go and have no idea! The users I have met are quite appalled that they had no idea. They would have liked to know before booking!
5 votesThank you for your message. Campsites do not necessarily need planning permission to operate however we react to any concerns raised. Without knowing which campsite you are referring to, it is difficult for us to implement your suggestion :-)

Description of available facilities
Within the description of the available facilities it would be very helpful if there was a general section attached to the website where there were definitions of what was included within each of the available facilities for example does “Toilet Block” include waste disposal from Motorhome cassette style toilets or is this defined in “Fully Serviced” or in “Portaloo” or only in “Chemical Disposal”. Where “Water” is shown as an available facility is this at each pitch or is this a communal facility where you can fill up a Motorhome?. What is included within “Charging facilities”? I do not see…

Cycling or walker lone camper rates
I find it frustrating if travelling by bike, alone I pay the same for my tiny tent as a family of 4 with a large car. Reduced rates for sustainable travel and lone campers should be encouraged

ive lost money booking with you...
its not a lot, granted, and i'm not going to chase you for £1.50 but this rather an unfair practice to customers in my position.
As a single person I booked a nights camping at Hendra in Newquay as it was the cheapest that was available on your site.
The booking went through, my account was debited and the following day i received a phone call from Hendra telling me they are a family site and do not accept booking from individuals.
I was refunded, but not the full amount. I assume that was…4 votes
